Terms of Service

By accessing or using PlayYofi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayYofi platform, website, mobile application, and all related services ("Service") provided by PlayYofi Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," "our").

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One account per user — multiple accounts are not permitted
  • Accounts created using false information will be suspended

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of PlayYofi, you agree to:

  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes related to sports networking and recruitment
  • Keep your profile information accurate and up to date
  • Treat all other users with respect and professionalism
  • Report any content or behavior that violates these Terms
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may NOT use PlayYofi to:

  • Impersonate any person, coach, institution, or entity
  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any user
  • Contact minors in ways that are inappropriate or unsolicited
  • Solicit money, goods, or personal information from other users
  • Post content that is illegal, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory
  • Scrape, copy, or extract platform data without written permission
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or disruptive code
  • Use automated bots or tools to access the platform without authorization
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Circumvent verification processes or safety measures

5. Content Ownership & License

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on PlayYofi (profiles, photos, videos, posts). By posting content, you grant PlayYofi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform for the purpose of operating the Service.

Our Content

All other content on PlayYofi — including the platform design, branding, code, and features — is owned by PlayYofi Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

6. Coach Verification

Coaches must complete PlayYofi's verification process before accessing full platform features. Submitting false credentials is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension and referral to appropriate authorities.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that:

  • Violates these Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Engages in conduct harmful to other users or the platform
  • Provides false information during registration or verification
  • Is associated with fraudulent or illegal activity

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimers

THE PLAYYOFI PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY RECRUITING OUTCOMES, SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS, SIGNINGS, OR PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. PLAYYOFI IS A DISCOVERY AND NETWORKING PLATFORM ONLY.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAYYOFI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which PlayYofi Inc. operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution process set forth in the applicable jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
